Tertianum completes acquisition financing

Niederer Kraft Frey advised Tertianum Group regarding the amendment of its existing financing documentation required to enable the financing of the acquisition of Senevita AG. The financing has been provided by UBS Switzerland AG as sole bookrunner, mandated lead arranger and agent and other members of the syndicate of lenders.

Tertianum Group, being a portfolio company of leading mid-market investor Capvis, is a privately operated service provider specialising in senior living, housing, and care. Tertianum Group currently comprises of 99 facilities across Switzerland, and a patient hotel in Lausanne. The merger sees two long-standing Swiss providers of residential and nursing care for the elderly team up for the future. Both companies combine high quality standards, a strong regional presence and a clear commitment to social responsibility in the care sector. By joining forces with Senevita, the Tertianum Group aims to expand its coverage in German-speaking Switzerland, thereby improving care provision significantly.
